Now let's dive into the details.
Green Tea Cleansing Foam
This has a strong herbal scent. I personally love the minty hint in its herbal smell. But if you're very sensitive to herbal scents then this may be a deal breaker for you. The product comes in a 150ml squeeze tube. It's perfect for getting just the right amount of product. It's portable enough to carry during your travel.
All you need is a pea-sized amount and it's good enough to cover the entire face. Its creamy consistency will transform into a mild foam. I tried to wash with this product only (no makeup remover) and it got rid of most of my makeup except for the eyeliner and mascara. After using, it leaves your skin feeling fresh but not tight.
Green Tea Balancing Skin (Toner)
Unlike the cleansing foam, the toner is a bit toned down in terms of fragrance. It's in a recyclable, plastic bottle (200ml). You just pour the toner into your hands and dab on your face gently. In my opinion, the packaging could be better. My problem with this is I often accidentally pour more product than what I intended. My suggestion would be to use a pump instead of pouring straight from the bottle.
The consistency is light and definitely feels refreshing on damp skin. Unlike Western toners, this one serves as a pre-moisturiser. It serves as a bridge from your cleansing routine to your main skincare routine. It preps the skin really well for your next step.
